Susan was preceded in death by her father Harold Rose.
She is survived by her mother Ann Rose; her sister Melinda Kolker; and her brother Dr. Tom Rose.
Susan was a high-energy person with an active sense of humor and a former Miss Mississippi contestant. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she performed in the musical group, Southern Exposure. Susan’s early career leveraged her musical talent, performing in “I Hear America Singing” and the ’50s show at Opryland. She also toured with “The Denim Gang”, promoting patriotism and Coca-Cola, which obviously go hand-in-hand. Her exuberant personality and passion for adventure led to her career as a flight attendant.
Susan loved the beach and her golden retrievers, and missed her “daddy.” She had a life of highs and lows, and has now found the peace and contentment that she pursued with a passion.
Memorial services will be delayed until June, when family and friends can gather to celebrate her life and to share memories.
